2019 ‘The Aberfeldy’ Shiraz

The 2019 vintage is the 28th release of the Aberfeldy and despite following the outstanding year of 2018 that set the quality standards high, it is another classy release of this label.

It has a vibrant deep ruby red hue with aromas of ripe berries , black cherry, plum and chocolate complemented by clove, nutmeg and vanilla oak derived spicy characters.

It is full bodied on the palate with dark berry conserve flavours and firm tannins generated from the warm, dry growing season leading in to vintage , with a precise balance between sweet fruit and spicy oak flavours and power and finesse.

 

2024 Mr. Mick Fiano

We like to experiment at Mr Mick and that is not new. After the successful releases of the Vermentino and Pinot Grigio a few years ago, the new kid in town is Fiano.

The 2024 Mr.Mick Fiano is the very first release of this exciting Italian white variety and the result of careful planning by Tim Adams and his team in the last few years. With its origin in the southern region of Campania in Italy, Fiano adopted Australia as its second ‘international’ home and it is proving to have a great and natural adaptability to the growing conditions of the Clare Valley.
