Best Buy Wines
Jeremy Oliver, April 2011
A pinot gris of rare focus, freshness and varietal quality that manages to be long and tangy, but also delivers elegance and delicacy. Scented with a floral bouquet of musk, peach and pear it reveals a whiff of lemon zest. There's roundness, creaminess and juiciness on the palate, with bright pear, peach and citrus flavours, while towards the finish the wine becomes more savoury and mineral. Underpinned by a fine chalkiness, it finishes with a hint of sweetness balanced by a brittle acidity. Download Snippet

GENUINE EXCITEMENT: Tim Adams 2009 Pinot Gris
John Lewis, The Newcastle Herald, November 2009
... gives me some genuine excitement ... the nose has enticing ginger blossom scents and lychee flavour dominates the front of the palate. Elements of nashi pear and cumquat marmalade present on the middle palate and mineral-edged acid livens the taste buds at the finish. Four-and-a-half stars. Download Snippet
