Jeremy Oliver 2011 WINE ANNUAL Jermey Oliver , October 2011 Download Snippet |
|
Best Buy Wines Jeremy Oliver, April 2011 A pinot gris of rare focus, freshness and varietal quality that manages to be long and tangy, but also delivers elegance and delicacy. Scented with a floral bouquet of musk, peach and pear it reveals a whiff of lemon zest. There's roundness, creaminess and juiciness on the palate, with bright pear, peach and citrus flavours, while towards the finish the wine becomes more savoury and mineral. Underpinned by a fine chalkiness, it finishes with a hint of sweetness balanced by a brittle acidity. Download Snippet |

Elements of nashi pear and cumquat marmalade present on the middle palate and mineral-edged acid livens the taste buds at the finish. Four-and-a-half stars. Download Snippet |
