Top Drop with David Sutherland David Sutherland, The Border Mail, July 2011 Most of the shiraz fruit for this wine comes off dryland vineyards with were used to the tough conditions. Bright crimson purple in colour, intense plum, blackcurrant aromas on the nose with complexing vanillan oak, and a palate wish is rich and ripe with soft fine tannins on the finish and excellent overall balance and length. With food: barbecued lamb chops with plum sauce. Download Snippet |

Tim Adams 2008 Reserve Tempranillo John Lewis, The Newcastle Herald, July 2011 Climate change is the hot topic of today and, because it can withstand rising temperatures, the Spanish Tempranillo (tem-pra-nee-yo) variety is being ebraced by and increasing number of Aussie winemakers. Tim Adams 2008 Shiraz Ralph Kyte-Powell, The Age, July 2011 Clare Valley Shiraz is always generously constructed and this is no exception. Impenetrable colour and a concentrated nose, reminiscent of stewed berries and plums, spices and meaty notes, introduces a deeply flavoured, rich red wine full of flavour, good body and balanced tannins. Tim Adams Shiraz 2008 Gary Walsh, The Wine Front, May 2011 Tasted alongside the 08 Leasingham Bin 61 Shiraz and the thought that they represented the sunrise (and rise) and sunset of two great Clare Valley players popped into my head. Download Snippet |

Top Drops Peter Forrestal, The Sunday Times, March 2011 Consistently one of the Clare Valley's finest, this wine is outstanding in 2010. It's delicate and restrained one the nose, yet powerful, lean and tight, showing pure limey flavours that are beautifully balanced before a clean, refreshing finish that lingers. Download Snippet |

The Five Minute Wine Rush Paul Ippolito, www.paulippolito.com, February 2011 Top shelf Pinot Gris. I knew from the first pour when the delightfully translucent copper straw colour bedazzled my Riedel glass with its reflections bouncing effortlessly from side to side then finally settling enough for me to have my first sniff and swirl. Pure pears follow along with green apples and lemons, this is and orchardist's idea of heaven. Good liveliness on the palate - balance between ying and yang - you know what I mean. Anyway, it drinks beautifully with my lamb korma with plums and chickpeas and my homemade roti. Download Snippet |

Tim Adams 2010 Riesling Gary Walsh, The Wine Front , February 2011 Sometimes its hard to judge young Riesling, but sometimes....well....its just very easy. And I like wines that make my job easy. Lime, kaffir lime, slate and white pebbles with a slight floral edge. It's juicy and fresh, striking a balance between flavour and finesse - you might call it envigorating even. Beautiful to drink as a young wine and more than likely to reward later. Has length, no hard edges and hits the Riesling bullseye fair on. Thwack. Doing. Need to know more? Go find out for yourself then. 95 points. Download Snippet |

Sample The Fergus David Ellis, Daily Mercury, January 2011 Back in 1993 when Clare Valley winemakers were suffering a desperate shortage of Shiraz and Cabernet grapes, Tim Adams Wines convinced a neighbour, Fergus Mahon to sell them his entire crop. And in appreciation they labelled the wine The Fergus. With wonderful red berry flavours and a nice spiciness from teh Grenache component, at $27 it's an ideal wine with gamey meats, duck or lamb. 3 Cheers, Tim Adams Pinot Gris Rick Allen, The Manly Daily , January 2011 When you think of Tim Adams wines, the two stars of the Clare Valley - shiraz and riesling - spring to mind, and rightly so. But this wine continues to impress me - mostly because it's not my favourite variety, so when I taste one I like, it tends to stand out. Once again, he gets fabulous acid structure which brings a natural balance and freshness to the musky pear and apricot flavours. Download Snippet |

Spicy, juicy, pick Tony Love, The Herald Sun, Brisbane Courier Mail, Adelaide Advertiser, Sydney Daily Telegraph and Hobart Mercury , January 2011 Moving on from straight varietal styles, this blend features grenache as its lead character, with support roles by shiraz and temperanillo, cabernet and mataro, all mixing their bit to form a dusty, juicy, spicy wine. It's medium weighted and superbly crafted to be fantastic food partner. A very good, bright, modern red wine. $ Excellent value, enjoy with tea smoked duck. Download Snippet |
